We have over 55 members who are keen to do business with you.

This month our spotlight is on Martin Budzinsky a member of the forumwho. Martin is Treasurer for the 494 (Stansted Airport) SquadronQN Air Training Corps ( which became a Squadron in February 1998). He and his wife also have a franchise for Voucher Packs. The number 494 was chosen from one of the US Bomber groups currently operating from RAF Lakenheath. Cadets are involved in a really wide range of activities. July was a very busy month as they helped out as marshals for the SBF summer fayre raising funds for the squadron with their tombola stall. Visits then followed to the new Aerozone at Stansted Airport where cadets gave an interesting talk on the airport’s history. They were also busy helping out as marshals at the Race for Life at North Weald airfield. Don’t forget that the cadets help out at the fireworks evening in the village and also take part in our Remembrance celebrations in November.

Voucher Packs are becoming really popular. These packs are distributed over 15 mile area around Bishop’s Stortford with a mailing of 10,000 homes and consist of discount vouchers for businesses and restaurants. The feedback from customers has been very positive. Martin says that the Voucher Packs concept is fantastic as it helps keep people informed about what is happening in their area and everyone likes a great offer and discount! So watch out for the pack through your door and make sure you use them.
