We are a network of local businesses based in Stansted Mountfitchet and the surrounding area.

Our vision is to promote and showcase local businesses. This is facilitated by regular monthly networking meetings, special events such as Stansted Summer and Christmas Fairs and the development and advertising of the SBF brand.

Central to the theme of business promotion is the idea of each business being a reseller for others. Of course this is based upon trust, reputation and customer service, three essential ingredients for any successful business and the principle of one business being able to recommend another.

We meet at Linden House every first Friday of the month, from 7:00am to 9:00am.

Check our meeting schedule below.

Annual membership is £75 which is due on the 1st June or you will pay a pro rata rate depending on when you join throughout the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

We would like to know your name, your company name and location and also for you to have a 30 second slot to tell us about what you do and why your company is different.

We meet up the first Friday of every month for 10 months of the year.  We do not meet up in January or August which is in the middle of the holiday period.

You can come alone or bring colleagues with you and some information about your company so that you can tell others what you do.  This is your opportunity to network with others.

Breakfast is normally £10 and you would need to pay by card or cash on the day.

Meetings are from 7.00am for 7.30am and this means that you will have time to introduce yourself to others and get to know other members.  We normally have breakfast at 8.00am which is followed by a speaker of interest to the group.  We always aim to finish breakfast by 9.00am as this meets our members’ needs.

Breakfast is normally a full English breakfast with tea or coffee.  If you have any particular dietary requirements then please let us know in advance of the breakfast meetings.

Telephone Peter James on 01279 813318 or email him on peter.james@murdochsestateagents.co.uk
